How to remove or change a background
- Upload a photo. JPG, PNG or WEBP with a clear main subject.
- Choose the background type: Transparent for a PNG cutout, a solid or custom colour for marketplaces and brand posts, a preset style (marble, wood, fabric, nature blur, city blur, gradient or vintage paper), or a custom background described in your own words.
- Pick an aspect ratio: Original, Tall, Square or Wide.

Getting better edges
- Hair and fur cut out best against a background that differs strongly in colour.
- Glass, smoke and thin wires are hard for any background remover; expect to touch them up.
